TubCove's® Fiberglass Shower Bases are the least expensive to manufacture
and install. However, they typically have a shorter life expectancy than
our Acrylic and Cultured Marble models. Fiberglass Shower Bases are available
in a variety of standard sizes and configurations (single or double threshold,
and angled entry) and are designed with a center drain.
Acrylic
Acrylic Shower Bases have a more lustrous finish and are manufactured for a longer life expectancy than Fiberglass Shower Bases. Acrylic Shower Bases are also available in a variety of standard sizes and configurations (single or double threshold, and angled entry).
Cultured Marble
TubCove's® Cultured Marble Shower Bases are custom manufactured from a blend of resins, inorganic particulates and pigments. Cultured Marble surrounds are polished with a clear or colored gelcoat which provides a brilliant finish to the product. The gelcoat also produces a tough, durable, non-porous surface that is stain resistant and easy to maintain. Accordingly, Cultured Marble is our highest priced option and has the greatest longevity. Cultured Marble Shower Bases can be manufactured to fit any shower size and configuration and the drain does not need to be centered.
